The Cedar

This is yet another one from the Shillong trip with Devapriya Acharya in July 2011. This Cedar tree is in Thagkharang Park, Cherrapunji, Meghalaya, India. As a matter of fact, although I have been seeing this species of tree for years (actually for about fifteen years), I never really knew its name. A consolidated list of trees in north-eastern India and google image search helped find it. Also, this marks the beginning of the second half century of photos on this photoblog. And as is evident, I have finally taken to posting more frequently now. So, there’s a lot more coming…
