The grasseater

The grasseater by Sudipto Sarkar on Visioplanet

This was taken in one of the Wildlife ranges in the Kaziranga National Park. They take tourists to a watch tower in the middle of the range. And the lush greenery of the forest is breathtaking. When I saw the greenery from atop the watch tower, I couldn’t believe my eyes. I was seeing so many different shades of green… Shades I never knew existed (I’m being a little melodramatic I know)…

And beneath the watch tower, this guy perched on a blade of grass…

  1. this guy perched on a blade of grass was taking a rest Sudipto… we have thousands of fireflies around our lake and they are our best friends… because you see they eat thousands of mosquitoes every day… between 5:00 and 10:00 p.m. there will be at least 25 of them darting across my view to the lake eating those pests….peter:)
