Cactus Flower Cactus Flower by Sudipto Sarkar is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License. I took this photo a while back. The field this was growing in was a mustard field. Although there were no mustard plantations at the time. It wasn’t the season, I guess… Well, from the leaves, it looks like a cactus. So, I’m guessing it’s that, although I could very easily be wrong about that assumption. The flower does look like a mustard flower, albeit a lot bigger (and different in shape too). Come to think of it, I could just have named this post – UFO (Unidentified Flower Object). ๐ In other news, I’ve been doing some setup with my posting program yesterday, hence the delay… Also, I’m getting a huge monitor (color calibrated, yay!) and speakers delivered this weekend… ๐ EXIF Info Exposure f/5.0 1/640 sec ISO 200 Focal Length in 35mm 360 Date taken 2017:03:11 08:30:03 Camera NIKON D3200 Spread the love Tweet Post navigation The colors of natureFlowerception 16 Comments Looks like a thistle of some kind to me. Reply Thank you Ayush… That means a lot to me… ๐I'm not sure if we have calibration services here… And if we did, I suspect they'd charge ungodly amounts of money for that… ๐ Reply Yay for delightful UFOs and for toys to play with. Have fun, Sudipto. Reply ๐ Thanks, Ginnie… ๐ Reply Beautiful…The leaves are thorny…but is this cactus ? I wonder !Devi ๐ Reply I don't think it's cactus… But this one had me stumped… The leaves look a little thick and mushy like a cactus… I wonder if it's a hybrid of two plant species… ๐ Reply Leave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
